umuulan ng yelo!
namputsa! paglabas ko ng opisina, biglang umulan ng yelo!!!
i stayed at the porch of the heritage house infront of our office and freeze my ass off waiting for the hailstorm to stop. goodness, it felt like forever standing there, i was a bit frightened by the little ice coming from above...tumitilamsik sya! at masakit ha? buti na lang at maliit sila ng konti but still, ang impact ng pagtama ay hindi biro. and because it's ice, it makes you wet...kaya mukha akong basang sisiw na giniginaw.
can winter get any worse than these????
but then after the hailstorm, i got off the porch and started walking ON ice! and even if i was so cold and so scared that i might actually slipped and get hurt (ang dulas! kasi nga basa at nagyeyelo ang daan), i laughed! i actually laughed . i felt exhilarated for being able to experience walking on ice...something i was experiencing for the first time. it was the child in me, i guess...i felt like playing in the street...make snowballs---be able to hold ice that directly came from the sky.
while waiting for my bus, i saw some kids making snowballs...and i envied them...i was wishing i could do that too (kung di ko lang kasama ang mga trainees ko, ginawa ko na talaga, nakakahiya naman diba? baka di na ako respetuhin ng mga trainees ko kung makikita nila akong naglalaro ng yelo)...i know it would've been fun.
oh well, here's wishing that next time a hailstorm would happen, i'd be at home so i could play with ice and make snowballs and be a child again.
